26/30 Outbuildings around stable yard, Allenheads Hall GV II

Outbuildings, mid-C19. Squared stone with ashlar dressings; slate roofs. West range 4 irregular bays: 2-bay section of 1 tall storey with blind windows and hipped roof; 3rd bay a 3-stage clock tower with clock in 2nd stage and belfry openings above, capped by a heavy cornice; 4th bay single storey with lean-to roof. To left lower link to Hall. East range consists of 2-storey, 4-bay stable block; plinth, 2 boarded doors, segmental-headed cart entrance, 12-pane sash windows, corbels to eaves, hipped roof with stone ridge stack; to right, set-back single-storey section with boarded doors links to Hall. To rear right of stable block and set at a higher level a cottage of 2 storeys, 2 narrow bays: boarded door with 16-pane sash window to left, narrow sash window and 12-pane sash above, roof hipped to left, gable with stone stack to right. Entrance to yard on north flanked by square piers with pyramidal caps.
