Description
Number 29 and the attached outbuildings at the rear are a house and stable and waggon shed range dating from the late 18th century, with alterations and extensions from the 19th century. The building is constructed of coursed squared sandstone on a brick plinth, topped with a pantile roof featuring coped gables and shaped kneelers, along with brick end stacks. The rear range is made of rock-faced sandstone.
The house has a central-entry plan and is 1.5 rooms deep, with the stable range located at the right rear. It is a two-storey structure with a three-window front. The entrance features a four-panel door with a narrow overlight above. All windows are four-pane sashes with painted stone sills, except for the one above the door, which is blocked. Each opening is topped with a keyed flat arch made of voussoirs.
On the right side, the house's gable wall is adjacent to the one-storey stable and waggon shed range. There is a board door in the gable wall to the left of a sliding sash window with two panes over four panes. The stable has a divided door to the left of a slatted window, while the three-bay waggon shed is closed off by three pairs of board double doors.
