Description

This is a house located at 25 Town Street in Old Malton, dating from the 19th century, though it likely has earlier origins. The ground floor is constructed of coursed sandstone, while the first floor features hammered sandstone, all resting on a brick plinth. The house has brick end stacks and a pantile roof. It is two stories high with a two-window front. The entrance is located on the left side of the building. The ground-floor windows are 16-pane sash windows with painted stone sills and plain stone lintels, while the first-floor windows are shorter 16-pane sashes with timber lintels. On the left side, there is a 20th-century glazed door.
