Description

4A Town Street is a house dating from the early 19th century, with later alterations. It is constructed of pink and cream mottled brick in English garden-wall bond, sitting on a rendered plinth. The roof is covered with pantiles and features brick stacks at the left end and to the right of the center. The building has a two-storey, three-window front. At the left end, there is a four-panel door, and to the right, there are two cambered-arched 12-pane sliding sash windows. A shallow small-paned bow window is located at the right end. The first-floor windows are similar to those on the ground floor and have painted stone sills. The eaves are adorned with a dentil course.
