Description
Fawside Green is a terrace of three houses built in 1790. The houses are constructed from rubble with dressed stone surrounds around the doors, and they feature a hipped slate roof with corniced stone stacks. Each house has two storeys, two windows, and a central door. The first house has a four-panelled door with an overlight, while the doors of the second and third houses are later additions. The windows are 16-pane sashes set in moulded boxes, except for one ground floor sash in the third house, which is a late 19th-century replacement. Above the door of the second house, there is a stone panel inscribed with 'Built by Sir. Tho. Blackett. Bart. Anno Domini 1790' within a circular surround.
