Description
Beaumont Mine is a former lead mine building that was later used as a sawmill, along with the remains of a bouse team located immediately to the west. This structure dates from the mid-19th century and is constructed of timber and rubble. The building features a west wall made of rubble with nine 16-pane fixed windows, while the rest of the structure is timber, likely added later but with similar window designs. The bouse team consists of squared rubble and has 14 apsidal bays divided by a stepped wall, which is open towards the former dressing floor on the west. Heavy timbers that once supported a tramway can still be seen over some of the bays.
