Description
Beaumont Mine features drainage tunnels and channels from the 19th century, constructed of squared stone. The drainage from Fawside Level exits through a stone-arched tunnel at the north end of the bouse team. It then flows along a walled and paved channel for approximately 70 meters before passing through a short additional arched tunnel to join the river.
