Description
Dudley Place, along with the adjacent privy row, is a terrace of six houses dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. The buildings are constructed of rubble with tooled and margined lintels and sills, topped by a hipped slate roof and featuring ashlar corniced stacks. Each house has two storeys and two bays. The first floor includes 12-pane sash windows arranged in a 4:8 configuration, while the ground floor features one 16-pane sash window and a boarded door with an overlight, although the door belongs to number 1 and is a later addition. The rear elevation has paired outshuts, with those of numbers 1 and 2 having a modern first floor added. At the left end of the terrace, there is a row of six altered privies.
