Description

Pantywylan is a warehouse constructed from blue lias rubble stone, topped with a corrugated asbestos roof and lacking any stacks. The building is three storeys high and features a four-window range on the west front. The top floor has four 4-pane casement windows with slate sills, the third of which was originally a loading door but has been altered to match the others. The first floor contains four openings with cambered brick heads, all featuring 4-pane casements except for the third, which is another loading door. A plaque is situated between the second window and the door. The ground floor has a blocked window to the left, followed by a passage with a timber lintel, a broad opening with a later iron lintel and 20th-century boarded infill, and a broad doorway with a cambered brick head that is not aligned. There is also a fifth opening to the right, which has a cambered brick head.

At the north end, outside steps lead into a bank, providing access to the first and second floors. The south end features a broad doorway on the ground floor with a cambered brick head, a first-floor loading door with a brick head and slate sill, a modern door, and a second-floor broad opening with a concrete lintel and a balcony.

The rear east wall has four second-floor windows, which are 4-pane with timber lintels, and three first-floor windows that are similar but have cambered brick heads. The ground floor includes two blocked openings and a through passage.
