Description
Bridgend Warehouse is a four-storey building constructed from blue lias rubble stone, topped with a slate roof and featuring stone end stacks. The façade consists of a five-window range, with 20th-century hardwood windows that have cambered brick heads. The lower floors have 2-light windows, while the upper floors feature 3-light windows. The central windows have replaced former loading doors, and the openings on the top floor have been raised through the eaves, each adorned with small gables.
On the east end wall, there is a three-storey stone lean-to that includes a ground floor door and a plaque stating, "This granary was erected by David Parry Esq of Noyadd in Cardiganshire March ye 26 1745." There are outside steps to the left leading to a first-floor entry, with additional steps continuing inside to the second floor. A second-floor window is located to the right, and the main range has a third-floor window on the east end.
The rear of the warehouse is similar to the front, featuring central loading doors and renewed brick heads on the windows. Additionally, there are 20th-century steel access stairs and galleries.
