Description
7 Old Bridge is a former warehouse built from rubble stone, featuring an imitation slate roof that is hipped at the left end. The building stands three storeys tall and has five bays. The late 20th-century casement-pair windows, which do not have glazing bars, are set in their original openings. The upper windows are positioned under the eaves, while the first and ground floor openings have red brick cambered heads and stone sills. On the ground floor, there is a window, a door, and another window in the first three bays, along with a broad doorway with double doors located between the fourth and fifth bays. The left end of the building has two bays with similar windows above a glazed door to the left, and boarded doors to the right on the upper floors.
The interior has been altered and opened up for use as a tourist information centre. The ground and first floors are connected, featuring a mezzanine art gallery.
