Description
This is a two-storey-and-attic terraced house, likely dating from the 18th century. The front facade is painted lined stucco with a slate roof and banded brick chimney stacks. The house has a raised plinth and band, with four-paned sash windows and two gabled attic dormers. A central half-glazed door is flanked by windows on each floor; originally, a wider shop window occupied the position of the left-hand sash. A large chimney is a feature of the rear roof slope.
A stone wing, partially built into a slope and covered with a corrugated roof, adjoins the main house at a right angle. This wing also features a massive stone chimney.
Internally, the ground floor on the left side shows a massive beam with some chamfered joists, whereas the right side has sawn joists. A transverse staircase leads to the upper floors, accompanied by some mid-19th century doors and panelling. The rear wing contains a large archway leading to a massive square chimney.
