Description

4 Old Bridge is a former commercial building that now consists of only its facade. It features painted stucco with flat eaves and stands three storeys tall, with a double front that is offset to the left. There is a band above the ground floor, and the windows are set in raised shouldered surrounds. The sash windows have been renewed, with square 6-pane windows on the top floor, 12-pane windows on the first floor, and plate glass windows on the ground floor. These flank a recessed modern fixed 4-panel door that has a stucco cornice supported by consoles above. The doorway is topped with a rectangular fanlight featuring rectangular tracery, and it has a stuccoed architrave with a stuccoed moulded cornice on scroll brackets above. The interior of the building has been demolished.
