Description
The Fishguard Arms Inn is an inn built with painted stucco and features a slate close-eaved roof with a small brick stack on the left end. The gutter is supported by corbels. The building has three storeys and four bays. The second bay originally had a door, which in 1974 was described as having chamfered jambs, a flush-panelled six-panel door, and a traceried overlight; this has since been replaced by a window that matches those on the left and right. The other three bays feature original square six-pane sash windows on the top floor, while the first floor has renewed plate glass sashes of slightly different lengths, with the left bay being the shortest. The ground floor has smaller plate-glass sash windows of uniform size. The left end gable faces the river and has a one-window range with a door to the left. The interior of the ground floor has been altered.
