Description
47 Bridge Street is a late Georgian building with Victorian alterations. It is three stories tall with an attic and features a two-window front with scribed render. The spacing of the windows is broader at No 45, while Nos 47 and 49 are designed as reflected pairs with a cill band. The building has slate roofs, bracket eaves, and a rubble chimney stack. The dormers are slate hung, with a pitched roof on No 45 and cambered roofs on Nos 47 and 49. The windows are mainly horned sash without glazing bars, and there are three-story splayed bay windows for each property, complete with bracket cornices and panelled aprons. The right-hand windows of No 45 and the central windows of Nos 47 and 49 have architraves, while the second floor is blind. The entrance features a Doric paired doorcase for Nos 47 and 49, which includes a dentil cornice and panelled reveals, while No 45 has a Victorian doorcase with half glazed and panelled doors.
