Description
45 Bridge Street is a late Georgian building with Victorian alterations. It is three stories tall with an attic and features a two-window front made of scribed render. The spacing of the windows is broader at No 45, and this building, along with Nos 47 and 49, has reflected pairs with a cill band. The roof is slate with bracket eaves and a rubble chimney stack. No 45 has slate-hung dormers with pitched roofs, while Nos 47 and 49 have cambered roofs. The windows are mainly horned sash without glazing bars, and each building has three-story splayed bay windows with bracket cornices and panelled aprons. The right-hand windows of No 45 and the central windows of Nos 47 and 49 have architraves, with a blind window on the second floor. Nos 47 and 49 feature a Doric paired doorcase with a dentil cornice and panelled reveals, while No 45 has a Victorian doorcase with half-glazed and panelled doors.
