Description
The Vine is a two-storey building constructed of red brick in Flemish bond, topped with a hipped slate roof. It features a double pile plan with three bays and a central stair hall, with stacks positioned between the front and rear rooms. To the left, there is an added one-and-a-half storey, two-bay shop. The house has a central door from the 1930s with a sunray pattern and a fanlight, all set within an added gabled porch. The windows are sixteen-paned sashes with rubbed brick flat arches, and the building has wide boxed eaves. The shop front is distinguished by tall fluted pilasters supporting a fascia and cornice. Centrally located within the shop front is a boarded door with a patterned fanlight, flanked by a large timber shop window featuring 20 panes of original crown glass.
