Description

The outbuildings at Burgedin Lock consist of two structures dating around 1820, with one renovated around 1880. The first outbuilding is constructed of red brick with a slate roof and a gable stack. Its south side features a central boarded door, and it has no windows. Attached to the east side is a pig-sty, formed by a semi-engineering brick wall approximately 1.8 meters high, creating a small enclosure.

The second outbuilding, located immediately south of the first, appears to be a storeroom or tollhouse also of red brick. The lower eight courses of brickwork are of a semi-engineering type, with a slate roof and clay ridges. A chimney stack is situated in the west gable, and a door is located at the south end of the east wall. This building has no windows.
