Description

Burgedin Lock Bridge is a brick structure that features a splayed plan between its end piers and has a slightly battered profile. The arch consists of one and a half brick rings that are chamfered after placement. There are two coursed plat bands and a parapet made up of 12 courses. The coping on the south side retains its original rounded stone coping, while the north side was rebuilt in the late 19th century using hard-burnt brick and ends with pyramidal tops on the piers.
