Description

Heckfield Bridge is a mid-19th century structure featuring a single cambered arch made of red brick in English bond, with a stone keystone. Above the arch, there is a slightly cambered projecting band topped by a parapet wall that has a moulded stone capping. The side walls of the bridge turn outwards at each end, finishing in round piers. Each face of the parapet has a rectangular stone panel that projects slightly in the center.
