Description

Hill Cottages, dating from the 18th century, is a symmetrical building with two storeys and five windows, although there is an additional unit at the east end. The cottage features a red tile roof and roughcast walling, with a red brick plinth. The east gable is constructed in brickwork, using Flemish bond with blue headers and cambered openings. The windows are square-leaded casements, with those on the west side being older and set into a cambered top. There is a modern open gabled porch supported by posts on a low brick wall, which contains a six-panelled door within an architrave.
