Description

Hill House is an 18th and 19th century building, demonstrating a symmetrical front (west-facing) with two storeys. It originally had a 1-4-1 window arrangement, but has later gabled wings that project slightly. The roof is tiled, with red brick dentil eaves and verges to the later additions. The walls are red brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with blue bricks used as headers in the centre. The ground-floor windows have cambered openings, and the upper floor windows are sash windows within exposed frames. A large Victorian brick porch features decorative bargeboards to the gables, and a six-panelled door.
