Description

Chestnut Cottage is a late 18th-century building that stands two storeys high and features two windows. The cottage has a red tile roof and a large tapered chimney at the north end, which has a small roofed oven attached at its base. The walls are made of red brick laid in Flemish bond, and the ground-floor openings are cambered. The windows are square-leaded casements, and there is a plain door set in a solid frame.
