Description

Greys Bridge is a road bridge dating from the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed of brown English bond brick with ashlar dressings. The bridge features a single span and a single cambered arch made of brick voussoirs. A projecting keystone rises through the hood mould and meets a chamfered band that separates the body of the bridge from the ashlar parapet. The retaining walls on either side curve slightly forward and end in square piers.
