Detached Agricultural Range to the south of Bontglantanat Farmhouse

This is a detached agricultural range located to the south of Bontglantanat Farmhouse. The building is positioned against a bank and faces north towards the farmhouse. It has been heightened and extended to the east, with an open-fronted additional shed on the west side and an informal low lean-to extension at the rear (south). The structure features uncoursed quasi-rubble slate masonry and timber cladding where it has been heightened, topped with a slate roof that has some sections replaced with sheeting and a tile ridge.

The front (north) elevation includes six doors and two windows, all with timber lintels, as well as two loft hatches and ventilation slits. The shed added at the right (west) end serves as an open-fronted livestock shelter and is situated at a higher ground level. There is also a dormer at the rear.

Historically, this building has been used as a cowshed, and within it, a transverse feeding walk with low side walls remains in the middle bay, along with some stone paving.
