Rhos-isaf Cottages

Rhos-isaf Cottages is a terrace of cottages that originally consisted of three but has been reduced to two, which are currently unoccupied. The cottages face south towards a small enclosed forecourt and have a shared wash-house on the left (west). They are built from local slatey quasi-rubble masonry, with the cottage walls painted white and the wash-house walls left unpainted. The roof is slate with a tile ridge, and there is a stone chimney on the left that is shared between the wash-house and the left cottage, along with a stone end-chimney on the right. There are informal rear extensions.

The range, including the wash-house, features four upper windows that are slightly unevenly spaced, along with three doors and two windows. The three lower domestic windows are aligned with the upper windows. The two cottages that were originally on the left and in the center appear to share one of the upper windows. Each cottage has a modern door and two four-pane casement windows with iron opening lights. The wash-house has a timber door and a slatted window but does not have any loft openings.
