The Green Stone is a stone monument approximately 2 meters tall. It has a slightly rounded face on the east side, which features the inscription 'Viatorum solatio et commoditat... / A Salop / XXVI / A Lond / CLXXX / L'. On the rear, there is a square inscription that reads 'H P vic P / MDCCLXX'.
