Description

This milestone, located at the junction of the B4580 and B4396, features a cast-iron plate that displays the following lettering: 'Wrexham District / 1894 / DCC / Wrexham 29 / Shrewsbury 25 / Oswestry 13 / Llanrhiadr Y M 1'. The stone itself is round-headed and approximately 150 mm thick, with an iron band for protection. Additionally, there is an Ordnance Survey benchmark at the base of the milestone.
