L-shaped farm ranges, S & W sides of farmyard, Caer'afallen

The building consists of L-shaped farm ranges located on the south and west sides of the farmyard at Caer'afallen. The long, lofted range on the west side features a front made of rendered white-washed brick under a slate roof, with a stone bay at the right end. In the center, there are three large round-arched cast iron windows with small-pane and radial glazing, flanked by wide doorways on both sides. The loft has two small windows, with the right window being tall and featuring wooden glazing. To the left, there is a possible former stable with a boarded door and window openings that are boarded over. Above the door, there is a wide shallow opening containing a boarded loft hatch set within weather-boarding, with another loft hatch above the right-hand window. The stone bay at the right end of the range has a former doorway that has been infilled with masonry and a window, along with a small modern lean-to.

Adjoining at right angles to form the south side of the farmyard is an open-fronted single-storey shed, supported by two columns—one of cast iron on the left and one of wood on the right. There is a brick wall to the left of the opening, and the slate roof includes skylights. The rear of the shed, which is visible from the front, has a five-light window that may be part of the infill of a wider opening.

The west range contains fittings and fixtures from an early 20th-century dairy parlour, while the south range serves as an open shed.
