9, 10 & 11 Old Church Street, Newtown

2 storey, 5 bay Flemish bond brick. Pediment with inset Diocletian window to slightly advanced centre bay. Moderately pitched slate roof. Modern slates to front, old to rear; bargeboards. Dentil eaves cornice. Brick stacks. Symmetric 2 window front to No 11. Small paned iron lights to timber cross windows. Cambered arches; headers to 1st floor, brick voussoirs to ground floor. Similar openings to No 9 but modern fenestration. Header arch to 1st floor cross window in advanced bay. Cut cross window to right of door, flat head, small paned iron lights. 6 panel door, 2 light rectangular fan to advanced bay. Similar, upper panels glazed, no fanlight to No 11. Modern door to No 9. "Modern" gabled hoods. Small paned 2 light iron casement to right gable end. Modern windows to opposite end. Timber frame to rear elevation. Tall panels, brick nogged. Tension braces. Irregular squat framing under eaves. English garden wall bond base. Curved projecting former stairwell (?) to rear of No 10, slate roof below eaves. C19 wing to rear of No 9. Small paned 3 light transomed windows, cambered heads.

Roughly dressed beams; timber framed partition walls.
