Description
7 Old Church Street is a two-storey house with one window, part of a row that includes Nos 6 and 8 Old Church Street in Newtown. The building features a carriageway with a window above it located between Nos 6 and 7. It is constructed of English garden wall bond brick and has a slate roof with plain eaves. The brick stacks have new caps. The first and ground floor windows are fitted with six-pane Victorian sashes, and the windows have cambered gauged brick voussoirs and plain reveals. The doors for Nos 7 and 8 are offset to the left, while the door for No 6 is offset to the right. Each doorcase has a dripboard supported by consoles, and there are three-pane rectangular fanlights above the panelled doors. The carriageway features a broad depressed arch made of a double row of headers. The property also includes good modern gates and small paned casements with cambered header arches at the rear.
