Description

The War Memorial is made of Doulting stone and sits on a Llanelwedd stone base. It features four figures carved from Portland stone and includes bronze tablets with inscriptions. The memorial has a classical style podium that is raised on three steps, supporting a late medieval style octagonal tapering shaft topped with a cross. The statues depict four male figures representing the Army, Royal Navy, Air Force, and Merchant Navy.
