Description
The war memorial is constructed from Portland stone and stands approximately 3.2 meters high. It features an elaborately-carved cross atop a tapering four-sided shaft, which is splayed where it meets the plinth. The lower part of the north face of the shaft is inscribed with the words 'FAITHFUL / UNTO DEATH.' The memorial is set on a tapered rectangular plinth, which rests on a chamfered base and a platform.
On the principal (north) face of the plinth, there is carved foliage beneath a metal plaque dated AD 2000. This plaque honors those from Camerton who fell fighting for their country in the two world wars, listing the name, rank, and regiment of twelve men who died in the First World War and six who died in the Second World War. Additionally, the north face of the base has the inscription: 'ERECTED BY PUBLIC SUBSCRIPTION.'
