Description

The granary at Llwyn Farm is a timber-framed building that is weatherboarded and topped with a corrugated iron roof. It is elevated 2 meters above the ground on six brick piers, each measuring 70 centimeters by 70 centimeters, and features chamfered stone steps. The space beneath the granary is partially enclosed with stone walls to create animal pens and storage areas.

Inside, there is a central truss supported by posts that hold up the single purlins. The structure includes an arched collar and features struts and curved tension braces connecting the posts to the wall plates. The floor is boarded.
