Description
The Old Rectory is a 19th-century building constructed from tuck pointed red brick with yellow brick dressings and slate roofs. The main range features two reception rooms in a cross wing on the right, while the rear wing on the left houses the service areas. The elevation is asymmetrical, showcasing a stone-coped gable on the cross wing, a central gabled and buttressed porch, and a small gable above a window on the left side. The entrance has a Gothic door with two lights, and the windows are mostly margin glazed casements, many of which have straight moulded stone labels. The gables are adorned with pointed finials, and there is a lean-to structure at the back of the service wing.
Inside, the main rooms are fitted with marble fireplaces and panelled window shutters.
