Description
Llay Hall Farm features a U-shaped range of two-storey red brick barns topped with slate roofs. The barns have a brick band course around them and a dentil eaves cornice. There is a high camber-headed cart entrance leading into the yard, complete with a keystone and brick voussoirs. The elevations that face the yard include camber-headed windows and boarded loft doors, with some openings having been remodeled in the 20th century. The upper floor showcases both diamond and diaper pattern ventilation holes, while the gable ends of the end ranges are adorned with doveboxes and ledges. The interiors were not inspected during the 1995 survey.
