Description
The former Llay Hall Colliery Chimney and Flue is a square-section structure made of red brick, tapering slightly to a height of approximately 25 to 30 meters. It features corbelled bands around the base and just below the top. The flue extends in a straight line for about 50 meters to the north, starting just below ground level and then constructed on the surface, following the slope downwards. At the edge of the lane, it passes through a stone cross-wall and ends near the former position of the boilers. The flue has vertical side walls made of red brick with a concrete slab on top.
