Description
The Former Llay Hall Colliery Workshops is a single-storey building with a gabled roof, constructed from red brick, which has been painted on the front. It features a slate roof and is elevated on a tall revetment wall at the rear, while the front faces a level colliery yard. The windows are tall and round-headed, fitted with metal frames that contain 30 panes, along with concentric and radially glazed fanlights. There are eight windows at the rear and four at the front, accompanied by three sliding doors. Each gable end has a shorter round-headed window. Near the roof's apex, there are six distinctive miniature dormer-style sloping roof vents, three on each side, and two chimney stacks located towards the middle of the building. The interior is partially subdivided and currently used as a store.
