Description

Small rectangular single storey block built in materials matching the other colliery buildings - high quality red and yellow decoratively patterned engineering brick with Welsh slate roof and overhanging eaves - but differentiated from them by a hipped roof and decorative moulded Gibbs surround in concrete to windows. Roof no longer intact; 3 tall yellow brick stacks. 6 window range facing valley, no frames survive, the cambered-arched heads with keystones; eaves band above decoratively stepped. Side elevation facing approach from Crumlin has a projecting flat-roofed porch bay with similar windows and side doorway, flanked by similar windows, very decoratively stepped eaves.

A passage lined with yellow and white brick runs through the centre of the building linking two doorways, the second giving access to the main terrrace; rooms to either side were rendered.
