Description

Bryn Alyn Farmhouse is a late 18th-century brick farmhouse. It is constructed of red brick in an English garden wall bond, with a hipped slate roof and brick chimneys. The building has a rectangular plan, with a rendered range projecting to the rear. The front elevation is symmetrical and features a central entrance with a trellis porch. The upper floor has three windows, and there is one window to either side of the entrance, all of which are 16-pane sash windows with painted stone cills. The rear wing has a dentil cornice, and its windows are generally casements. A deep eaves cornice runs around the building. It is understood that the interior contains a staircase with a closed string and two contemporary fireplaces, though these were not inspected during a survey in 1995.
