Description
Forester's Hall, also known as the Cocoa Rooms, is a building constructed from pressed red brick, featuring shallow pilaster strips and corbelled eaves. It has blue brick dressings and bands, along with slate roofs topped with red ceramic ridge tiles. The building is marked by two large chimneys on the left, which also have pilaster strips and corbelled top courses.
The front of the building, facing the road, consists of three bays, with a lower gabled block on the left. The central three-storey section features a broad camber-headed window on the top floor, with a dated plaque on each side of the sill. On the first floor, there is a central window similar to the one above, flanked by smaller windows. The gabled block to the left has a camber-headed window on the first floor and a shop window at ground level.
The left elevation displays a central three-storey gabled bay, with camber-headed windows on each floor and doors leading to each outer bay. The right elevation is plain, while the rear of the building includes a three-storey gabled block with three camber-headed windows and a lower gabled block to the right.
