Description
The Piermaster's Lodge, also known as the N.Lodge to Windsor Gardens, is a single-storey building with an attic, constructed from red pressed brick. It features a moulded brick cornice and frieze, pale stone sills, and a hipped roof covered in banded red and brown tiles. The building has a compact plan with a central chimney stack that also has a moulded brick cornice.
At the front, there is a central projecting bay that includes a hipped two-window dormer in the attic. The ground floor of this bay has a rectangular projecting window with three lights. To the left of the bay, there is a door located under a wooden porch with a horseshoe arch. To the right, there is a two-bay wooden porch with a door that features small pane glazing.
On the north side elevation, there are three narrow camber-headed windows, with the central window set higher than the others. The south side has three similar windows with square heads, all aligned at the same level. At the rear, there is an attic gable and a modern extension added to the ground floor.
