Description
Hope Farmhouse is a two-storey building constructed of red brick with a slate roof. It features three bays at the front, with a contemporary rear wing that has two bays and a gable stack. The south elevation has a centre bay that is slightly set forward and gabled, which includes a later one-storey gabled porch that covers the entrance. The windows are twelve-paned sashes with stone sills and rendered lintels. The centre window on the first floor is round-headed and has radial glazing bars. There are also round-headed attic gable windows, and a canted bay that lights the ground floor and cellar at the west end. Additionally, there is a stack on the east gable and another stack located at the rear of the parlour in the west bay.
