Description
Severn Lodge is a one-and-a-half storey building dating from the 19th century. It features a gabled main range with wings on the left and right. The left wing is set further back and includes a porch at the junction with the main range. The structure is built of coursed, rock-faced Cefn stone with ashlar dressings and has coped gables on moulded kneelers. The slate roof has axial stacks on the wings.
The main range has a sash window in the attic above an ashlar canted bay with a plain parapet, along with a cross-window in the center. The other main elevations feature cross-windows and 8-pane sash windows in the attic. The porch has a plain parapet and a narrow sash window in the side wall. The lintelled doorway includes a boarded door with fake strap hinges. The left wing has an integral lean-to at the back, covered with a corrugated iron roof.
