Description
Henfaes House is a 2-storey brick building with a slate roof, featuring boldly projecting eaves and gable end stacks. The main façade has a 3-window range facing north, with recessed flanking blocks on either side that curve at the front angles and have angled eaves overhangs. There is a rear wing attached to the main structure.
The central entrance on the north elevation includes a 6-panelled door with a lozenge overlight set in a reeded architrave, which is sheltered by an added porch. On each floor, there are 12-pane sash windows with painted flat arched heads on either side of the entrance. The curved flanking blocks appear to have been raised in height; the west block features a 12-pane sash window with a 2-light casement above it across the curve, while the east block is similar but has an inserted doorway.
At the rear wing, there is a single ring cambered window and a doorway located at the angle with the main range, which may have a blocked stair window to the rear.
