Description

The railings and gates at the Grapes Public House, Sussex House, and Heath Bank were built around the same time as the terrace in 1835. They feature cast-iron railings topped with urn finials on the main posts and leaf finials on the two-tiered rails. The gates for Nos 2 and 3 include ornamental quatrefoil bracing below the mid rail and curved bracing above it. These distinctive railings and gates are an important part of the overall design of the terrace.
