Description
Back Lodge is a small, simple Tudor-Gothic lodge built in the 19th century, featuring one-and-a-half storeys. It consists of a main gabled range with wings on the left and right. The right wing is set further back and includes a porch at the junction with the main range. The building is constructed of coursed, rock-faced Cefn stone with ashlar dressings and has coped gables on moulded kneelers. The slate roof features axial stacks on the wings, with the right wing having two tall octagonal moulded flues and the left wing having one. The main elevations are adorned with 2-light mullioned windows that incorporate sashes, along with small single-light windows in the gables. The porch contains a boarded door. Behind the left wing, there is a walled yard with an added lean-to.
