Description

The boundary wall south of Leighton Hall Tower is approximately 50 meters long and constructed of coursed, rock-faced Cefn stone with ashlar dressings and ramped coping. At the southern end, the wall terminates in an octagonal pier topped with a conical cap and a frieze of blank shields. The inner face of the wall, which faces a terrace walk in the gardens of Leighton Hall, features stepped buttresses. Near the southern end, there is a doorway with a pointed head and a boarded door.
