Description
The gateway at the north entrance to Leighton Farm serves as an entrance to both the farm and the church. It features a tripartite design framed by ashlar piers that are octagonal on square bases, topped with copings that have cruciform gablets and trefoil infill. One of the central piers is missing its coping. While the central gates are absent, the ornate cast-iron side gates are adorned with fleur de lys finials. This gateway is connected to the churchyard gateway by a curved wall made of snecked stone, which has coping topped with iron railings and includes an intermediate pier. The churchyard gateway is flanked by similar piers and features cast-iron gates that resemble those of the farm gateway. To the north of this, the wall continues with railings above and concludes with a pier matching the previously described piers.
