Description
The wall and two gateways located on the west side of the churchyard date from the early 19th century. They are constructed from ashlar, coursed squared rubble, and wrought iron. The openwork double gates feature a lozenge frieze on the stiles and rails, topped with spearheads. These gates are flanked by square ashlar gatepiers that have moulded cornices and ball finials. The ashlar coped wall slopes down on either side of the gateway, and to the right, it rises again to a corner pier that also has a ball finial. To the left, there is a smaller pedestrian gate with square piers.
